Aufruf für die "Globalen Tage der Aktion und Information gegen den Kapitalismus"
in der Zeit des G8-Gipfels 2007.

Kapitalismus greift uns im täglichen Leben an vielen Fronten an. Wir sind
gezwungen, das gegenwärtige kapitalistische System zu ertragen, während es uns
ausbeutet, isoliert, entmenschlicht und zerstört. Es ist definitiv an der Zeit,
es ein für allemal loszuwerden!
Um im internationalen Kampf gegen den Kapitalismus vorwärts zu kommen, geht
folgender Aufruf raus. Er stammt vom Internationalen Treffen gegen die G8, das
diesen Jahr in Warschau (Polen), mit Teilnehmern aus über 15 Ländern stattfand.
Bitte verteile diesen Aufruf so weit und so viel, wie dir möglich ist.

Abgeordnete der G8- Mitgliedsnationen und anderer wichtiger Wirtschaftsmächte
werden sich vom 6. bis 8. Juni in Heiligendamm, im Norden Deutschlands treffen,
abgeschirmt hinter einem Festungswall aus Elektrozäunen, Polizei und privaten
Sicherheitsdiensten. Zur selben Zeit werden sich auch Tausende von Menschen
versammeln, um sich der neoliberalen Politik der G8 entgegen zu stellen und den
Gipfel auf vielfältige Weise und an vielen verschiedenen Orten zu blockieren.
Eine große Menge an unterschiedlichen Gruppen und Menschen sind am täglichen
Kampf gegen die Auswirkungen der Politik des Profits gegen den Menschen
beteiligt, indem sie freie Räume erobern, Alternativen leben und die G8 und
andere wirtschaftliche Institutionen bekämpfen. Es ist wirklich aufregend
festzustellen, wie viele Gruppen sich zu den Protesten im Juni angekündigt
haben, oder diese anderweitig unterstützen. Die Proteste gegen den Gipfel
sollen nicht nur als Wunsch und Versuch verstanden werden, dieses Gipfeltreffen
zu sprengen, sondern auch als wichtiger Schritt im weltweiten Kampf gegen den
Kapitalismus. Nicht nur während der Tage des Gipfels, sondern vor allem auch
als Kampf auf einer täglichen Basis.

Es gab bereits globale Tage der Aktion und Solidarität, die nicht so besonders
erfolgreich verliefen. Der Grund lag zum Teil darin, dass unser Widerstand auf
feindlichen Gebiet und mit deren Regeln ablief. Wie können wir uns diesen
internationalen Akt des Widerstandes vergegen- wärtigen, und das auf eine
Weise, die einen wirklichen Wandel mit sich bringt? Eine der Möglichkeiten, die
in unserer gegenwärtigen Situation zu funktionieren scheint, ist die
kapitalistische Wirtschaft zu blockieren, indem man ihre Infrastruktur angreift
und den Fluss des Kapitals in der Welt stört.
Eine große Anzahl an Menschen, die den Kapitalismus und seine vielen Formen der
Unterdrückung auf der ganzen Welt bekämpfen, können jedoch nicht zu den
Gipfelprotesten in Deutschland kommen. Diese Einladung zu den Globalen
Aktionstagen gegen Kapitalismus ist eine Einladung an alle von euch, eure
täglichen lokalen und globalen Bemühungen zu vernetzen und miteinander auf eine
gegenseitig unterstützende und starke Weise zu kämpfen.

Die globalen Aktionstage gegen Kapitalismus können eine Möglichkeit sein, der
Welt und auch uns selbst die Reichweite unseres Widerstands vor Augen zu
führen, einem Widerstand, von dem die Proteste gegen die G8 nur ein kleiner
Teil sind. Effektiver Widerstand muss beständig und überall sein. Wir müssen an
den Erfolg unserer Aktionen glauben, und mit Hilfe dieses Wissens und dieser
Inspiration werden wir nicht wieder in unserem alten Trott versacken, sondern
den Widerstand über die ganze Welt verbreiten. Im Jahr 2007 und auch noch lange
danach.

Wir rufen zu Aktionen auf, die in den 10 Tagen um den Gipfel (1. bis 10. Juni
2007) stattfinden sollen, wie zum Beispiel

* der Aktionstag der Landwirtschaft (3. Juni),
* der Aktionstag der Migration (4. Juni),
* der Aktionstag des Antimilitarismus (5. Juni)
* und der des Klimawandels (8. Juni).
Jeder von Euch ist herzlich eingeladen, an diesem Prozess mit seinen Ideen und
Fähigkeiten teilzunehmen. Das kann vom Verteilen von Informationen bis hin zu
direkten Aktionen mit dem Ziel, die globale Wirtschaft auf der ganzen Welt
anzugreifen, reichen. Das ist auf alle Fälle dringend notwendig!

Der Kapitalismus macht nie Pause, also darf unser Widerstand auch niemals
ruhen!!

Gipfel-Gegner wollen friedlich sein
Protest-Gruppen vereinbaren Gewaltfreiheit für die Großdemonstration vor dem
G8-Treffen. Rostocks Banken sind dennoch besorgt.

Stadtmitte Bei den Demonstrationen rund um den G8-Gipfel Anfang Juni in
Heiligendamm soll es friedlich zugehen. "Es gibt seit einigen Tagen eine klare
Ansage zur Gewaltfreiheit", sagte gestern Steffen Bockhahn. Der
Bürgerschaftsabgeordnete organisiert die Gipfel-Aktivitiäten der
Linkspartei.PDS. Der Vereinbarung hätten auch Gruppierungen zugestimmt, "die
sonst nicht mit am Verhandlungstisch sitzen", so Bockhahn, und denen ein
Gewaltpotenzial zugerechnet werde.
Die Absprache bezieht sich vor allem auf die zentrale Großdemonstration, bei der
am 2. Juni 50 000 Teilnehmer im Stadthafen erwartet werden. Der Politiker geht
nicht davon aus, dass es in Rostock oder Umgebung zu Ausschreitungen und
Straßenschlachten wie beim Gipfel-Treffen in Genua 2001 kommen wird. Bockhahn:
"Die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist viel geringer, als einem Glauben gemacht wird." Die
Polizei habe aus dem Debakel in Italien gelernt und sei zudem mittels
Informanten in der Szene mit Sicherheit gut über den Vorbereitungsstand
informiert.
Bei Banken und anderen möglichen Zielen von Ausschreitungen und Vandalismus
laufen unterdessen die Vorbereitungen auf Hochtouren. Die Ospa hat eigens für
den Gipfel eine Gruppe gebildet, die geeignete Sicherheitmaßnahmen entwickelt.
Sollten sich Einschränkungen im Geschäftsbetrieb ergeben, werde die Sparkasse
ihre Kunden rechtzeitig informieren, so Ospa-Sprecherin Katrin Stüdemann. Fast
alle Banken, die in Rostock Filialen unterhalten, bereiten entsprechende
Konzepte vor. Öffentlich möchte aber keines der Kreditinstitute Einzelheiten
nennen. "Das ist kein Thema für die Zeitung", heißt es zum Beispiel bei der
Bundesbank-Filiale in der Richard- Wagner-Straße.
Vor allem international tätige Großbanken gelten als mögliches Ziel von
gewaltbereiten Globalisierungskritikern, neben Fastfood-Konzernen wie
McDonald's und Burger King. Bereits im Januar verübten mutmaßlich Linksextreme
einen Brandanschlag auf eine Berliner McDonald's-Filiale, den die Polizei im
Zusammenhang mit dem G8-Treffen in Heiligendamm einordnete.
Für den Schutz von Gebäuden ist die Polizei zuständig. Auf welchen Einrichtungen
ein besonderes Augenmerk liegt, will die zuständige Einheit "Kavala" unter
Verweis auf Sicherheitsgründe nicht mitteilen. "Es gibt sehr viele Punkte",
teilt Kavala-Sprecher Axel Falkenberg lediglich mit. Bereits für die
Großdemonstration der NPD am 1. Mai 2006 wurde das Polizeirevier in der
Ulmenstraße weiträumig mit einem Zaun und Stacheldraht abgesperrt. Die Anlagen
stehen heute noch. Das Revier war "in der Aufklärungsarbeit als Schwerpunkt
bezeichnet worden", sagt Polizeisprecherin Katrin Drewelow.
Steffen Bockhahn appelliert an die Rostocker, die vielen Zehntausend Protestler
freundlich aufzunehmen. "Es ist wichtig, dass die Leute nicht diskriminiert
werden." Eine friedliche Grundstimmung könne zur Gewaltfreiheit beitragen.
Würden die Gäste vorher grundlos kriminalisiert, sei eher das Gegenteil der
Fall.

Remember Carlo Giuliani - Killed by Italian police at G8 Demo 2001

Carlo Giuliani was shot and killed by a carabinieri (Italian policeman) whilst
he was taking part in an anti-globalisation demonstration in connection with
the G8 summit held in Genoa in 2001.

His family complained to the European Court of Human Rights; relying on Article
2 (right to life) of the European Convention on Human Rights, that Carlo's
death was caused by excessive use of force and that the organisation of the
operations to maintain and restore public order was inadequate.

A Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights has declared admissible the
application lodged in the case of Giuliani v. Italy (application no. 23458/02)
(The decision is available only in French.)

The applicants

Giuliano Giuliani, his wife Adelaide Gaggio and their daughter Elena Giuliani
are Italian nationals who were born in 1938, 1944 and 1972 respectively and
live in Genoa and Milan (Italy).

Summary of the facts [1]

The application concerns the death of the applicants' son and brother,
23-year-old Carlo Giuliani, which occurred while he was taking part in an
anti-globalisation demonstration in connection with the G8 summit held in Genoa
in 2001.

In the context of the G8 summit held in Genoa, from 19 to 21 July 2001, numerous
anti- globalisation demonstrations were held in the city and substantial
security arrangements were put in place by the Italian authorities, including
deployment of the armed forces.

On 20 July an authorised demonstration involving large numbers of participants
gave rise to violent clashes between demonstrators and the security forces. At
around 5 p.m. a group of about 50 carabinieri withdrew in disorderly fashion
near Piazza Alimonda, with the result that two jeeps which had been bringing up
the rear were left isolated.

Following a driver error, one of the vehicles, with three carabinieri inside,
remained on Piazza Alimonda, unable to move. Objects, mainly stones, were then
thrown at the jeep and some demonstrators ran towards it. One of the
carabinieri, panicking, seized his weapon, which he pointed outside the
vehicle, shouted to the crowd to leave and then fired two shots. Carlo, who had
just picked up a fire extinguisher, was a few metres away from the jeep; the
first bullet hit him just below the eye and he fell to the ground. In an
attempt to move the jeep out, the driver reversed over Carlo's body; he then
engaged first gear and drove over him again. When the demonstrators had been
dispersed, a doctor arrived at the scene and pronounced Carlo dead.

An investigation was opened immediately by the Italian authorities, in the
course of which statements were taken from the three carabinieri in the jeep
and evidence was heard from other carabinieri and from some of the
demonstrators. Criminal proceedings were instituted against the officer who had
fired the shots and the driver of the jeep for intentional homicide. The autopsy
performed on Carlo's body within 24 hours of his death revealed that the bullet
impact to his head had been sufficient to cause death within a few minutes,
whereas the jeep's driving over his body had resulted only in minor injuries.
The forensic expert found that the shot had been fired at a downward angle.

At the public prosecutor's request three expert reports were prepared; the
authors of the third report, submitted in June 2002, first deplored the fact
that they had been unable to examine Carlo's body. They concluded that the
bullet had been fired upwards by the officer but had been deflected by a stone
thrown at the jeep by another demonstrator, with the result that it had struck
Carlo. In their estimation, Carlo had been about 1.75 metres from the jeep when
the shot had been fired, and the officer firing the shot had therefore been able
to see him.

On 5 May 2003 the investigating judge discontinued the proceedings. She held
that the driver of the jeep, whose actions had resulted only in bruising, could
not be held responsible for the killing as he had been unable to see Carlo,
given the confusion prevailing around the vehicle. As to the officer who had
fired the fatal shot, the judge took the view that he had fired into the air
but that the bullet had been deflected by a stone, causing it to strike Carlo.
In the judge's view, the carabiniere had made legitimate use of his weapon and
had acted in self defence in response to a violent attack on the jeep.

Complaints

Relying on Article 2 (right to life) of the European Convention on Human Rights,
the applicants allege that Carlo's death was caused by excessive use of force
and that the organisation of the operations to maintain and restore public
order was inadequate. In addition, they argue that the failure to lend
immediate assistance to Carlo amounts to a violation of Articles 2 and 3
(prohibition of inhuman treatment).

The applicants further complain that there was no effective investigation,
particularly as no evidence was taken from certain witnesses or from the senior
police officers concerned. They also contend that one of the experts appointed
by the public prosecutor's office, the person who put forward the theory of the
bullet having been "deflected by a stone", published an article shortly before
his appointment in which he supported the self-defence argument. Finally,
despite the fact that the investigation concerned two carabinieri, several
investigative measures were entrusted to the carabinieri. The applicants rely
on Articles 2, 6 (right to a fair hearing) and 13 (right to an effective
remedy).

Procedure

The application was lodged with the European Court of Human Rights on 18 June
2002. A hearing took place in public in the Human Rights Building, Strasbourg,
on 5 December 2006.

THE 'BLOCK G8' CAMPAIGN CONCEPT FOR A MASS BLOCKADE OF THE G8 SUMMIT IN
HEILIGENDAMM

On June 6 2007, we want to - and will - massively and effectively blockade the
opening of the G8 Summit, the meeting of the heads of government of the world's
8 most powerful states, in Heiligendamm, near Rostock in Germany.

With blockades of civil disobedience in which thousands of people from different
political, social and cultural backgrounds can participate, we will express a
unmistakable "NO!" against the G8. A radical "NO!" which cannot be ignored. A
public, offensive and practical expression of the lack of legitimacy of the G8
and their policies of neoliberal, globalised capitalism; of wars; of social and
racist exclusion; and of environmental destruction. We will actively disrupt the
G8, occupying and blockading the streets required by the diplomats, translators
and supply vehicles to reach Heiligendamm. We want to practically and
effectively stop the Summit and cut it off from its infrastructure.
The central expression of our blockade will be to show that thousands of highly
diverse people have decided, together, to personally - and with their bodies -
blockade the Summit. Many will announce their participation in the blockade
publicly, showing their names and faces. Regardless of how and where we arrive
at the camps and on the streets around Heiligendamm, we have a common project:
One mass blockade with diverse cultural articulations. Those not organised in
groups - and without blockading experience - will also be able to participate
and receive the solidarity of others. There will be no limits to our
creativity. We see the connection between the functionality and political
articulation of the mass blockade as important. The 'Überflüssigen' (i.e. 'The
Superfluous' - a direct action group who have been visible in many of the
social protests in Germany over the past few years) with their red sweatshirts
and white face-masks have already announced their intended presence, rebel
clowns will also be there, as will samba drummers. Colourful does not mean
black, but black belongs to colourful.

We come from the environmental and anti-nuclear movement; the
counter-globalisation networks and the radical left; from non-violent action
groups and antifascist milieu; from political party and trade union youth
organisations and church groups. We want to bring our diverse blockading
experience at anti-nuclear waste (CASTOR) transports, anti-war actions, nazi
demonstrations and previous summit protests together in Heiligendamm - as a
powerful and determined mass action with thousands of people and the methods of
civil disobedience.
Our objective is to blockade. Therefore, we will overcome the police's barriers;
pushing them out of the way, going around them, or cannily flowing through them.
We will not allow ourselves to be stopped, distracted, or to get embroiled in
the police's possible strategy of escalation. Our objective is to reach our
blockading destinations. Our protection is our concept of diversity, mass
participation and desired (media and other) publicity. We need sleeping bags
and everything required for 24 hours on the blockades. There are lots of people
who will simply sit down and blockade the street with their bodies. In addition,
there are people who will remain standing, linking arms in chains and using foam
and balloons to protect their bodies. Some will push back against those
attempting an eviction, to make it more difficult for them. All these different
blockade forms will show solidarity with each other and will not endanger one
another. We will remain together and hold our common position. Through the
means of civil disobedience, we will resist by showing solidarity. We do not
want to injure anyone. We will effectively and enduringly blockade the Summit.
GET INVOLVED WITH 'BLOCK G8'

Register in your media and/or in a 'Declaration of Intent' that you support the
'Block G8' campaign. Produce publicity for 'Block G8', organise events and
collect supporters.
Build blockade groups locally and prepare for the Summit. Be creative and
organise action trainings. The better prepared, the more effective the
blockade.

the G8 Summit, declare your solidarity with the actions of the 'Block G8'
campaign and support us with a donation.
The 'Block G8' campaign is one of many concepts for blockading the G8 which we
support in their different action forms in different locations around
Heiligendamm. We will, therefore, share responsibility for co-ordinating the
overall choreography of blockading activities.

THE CALL

BLOCK G8 MOVE. BLOCK. STAY. At the beginning of June 2007, the heads of state
and government of the eight largest economic powers will come together for the
G8 Summit in Heiligendamm near Rostock.As an act of civil disobedience, we will
blockade this Summit. Our reason: The politics of the G8 stand for neoliberal,
globalised capitalism, which dramatically increases the gap between the rich
and poor worldwide. With the ""Block G8" campaign, we say ""No!"" and reject
the legitimacy of the G8!

Different initiatives and movements are calling for resistance to the Summit.
People from around the globe will articulate their protest through a diverse
range of actions. The ""Block G8" campaign is one part of this. Take part in
the protest actions and take a stand against the politics of the G8!

RESISTANCE AGAINST THE G8 - FOR A GLOBALISATION FROM BELOW In June 2007, the
voice of the powerful will not be the only one to be heard: Tens of thousands
of people from around the globe will gather to demonstrate against the G8 and
to take action together. Almost every milieu of the globalisation-critical
movement have been called upon to protest. The other world will make its voice
loud and clear and stand up for a globalisation from below: for equal rights;
for political and cultural rights for all human-beings; for the right to global
freedom of movement; for the responsible use of natural resources worldwide; for
the guaranteeing of public spaces and goods; and for global social justice.
MASS AND LASTING BLOCKADES - WE'VE COME, AND WE'RE HERE TO STAY! The ""Block
G8"" campaign are organising blockades as an action of civil disobedience in
which thousands of people from different political, social and cultural
backgrounds can take part. Together, through these actions, we articulate a
clear ""No!"" towards the G8. In doing so, however, we will not only
demonstrate; we will actively block the G8 and the access roads to the
conference centre over which the staff of diplomats, translators and service
providers need to pass in order to get to Heiligendamm. We will not leave these
access roads voluntarily, because our action is not intended to remain symbolic.
We want to actually and effectively block the G8 Summit and cut it off from its
infrastructure: We've come, and we're here to stay!

During the actions, we want to create a situation which is transparent for all
the blockaders and in which the participants in the action show solidarity by
taking care and supporting each other. Everybody needs to take responsibility
for the success of powerful and decided blockades and mutually respect the
borders and the protest cultures of all the participants. Potential police
brutality, for example during the eviction of a blockade, has to be resisted,
together, by showing solidarity and using the methods of civil disobedience.
TOGETHER AGAINST THE G8 SUMMIT Behind the concept of the mass blockades there
are groups, organisations and individuals belonging to: the environmental and
anti-nuclear movement; the globalisation-critical networks and the radical
left; from non-violent action and autonomous antifascist groups; from the
youth-wing of political parties and trade unions, as well as church groups. We
bring diverse blockade experiences with us: from the anti-nuclear waste
(CASTOR) transports in the Wendland (in North Germany), from the successful
blockades of neo-nazi marches in Berlin, Kiel and Leipzig, from the ""Resist"
campaign against the Iraq war, and from the protests against previous G8
summits.
The "Block G8" campaign understands itself as a part of a broad societal
resistance against the G8. The mass blockades, therefore, will fit in with the
other actions and demonstrations and be agreed upon with other groups and
initiatives. Our actions build on the summit protests of previous years. In
1999 at the protests against the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in Seattle it
was possible, for the first time, through mass blockades and other actions, to
delay the conference's opening ceremony for hours-an event which resonated
throughout the world and marked the arrival of the globalisation-critical
movement. With the actions in Seattle, the first cracks in the project of
neoliberal globalisation were shown. Let's enlarge these cracks together in
Heiligendamm!

EVERYONE CAN TAKE PART! THERE ARE DIFFERENT POSSIBILITIES: Declare your
participation in the ""Block G8" campaign. Already, ahead of the Summit, we
want to generate pressure against the G8 through thousands of declarations of
intent. We want thousands of people to declare, as far as possible, that they
will take part in the blockades in June 2007. State your solidarity. If you
already know that you cannot go to Heiligendamm, express your solidarity with
the blockaders by signing this declaration of solidarity. Form local groups and
prepare, together, for blockades in Heiligendamm. The success of the blockades
depend, amongst other things, on well-prepared groups and individuals. We offer
trainings for action groups. Get in touch. Organise events near you. We will
happily come and explain about the G8, to report on the idea behind the ""Block
G8" campaign, to give an impression of the state of preparations and the
possibility for taking part in actions.

THE G8 SUMMITS ARE A SYMBOL. They serve those in government as a demonstration
of their power. Their news reports: There is no alternative to the new world
order. With our action, we want to clearly reject the apparent lack of
alternatives.

AT THE G8 SUMMIT, POLITICS ARE CONCRETELY MADE AND COORDINATED; a politics in
which the interests of big business and financial investors are central. Around
the globe, the dramatic division between the rich and the poor is worsened;
accompanied by the widespread dismantling of social and democratic rights. When
the G8 talk about debt relief and aid programmes for the poor, they remain
silent about the fact that hunger, poverty and indebtedness are the result of
neoliberal, globalised capitalism. The politics of the G8 lead to the unabated
destruction of the basic requirements for human life, secures the access of a
few states to the majority of resources, and is ultimately imposed through
wars.

THE G8 IS AN INSTITUTION WITHOUT LEGITIMACY. It is a Club of the governments of
only eight states which arrogates to make decisions that affect the lived

Unterstützung für die G8-Gipfelgegner/innen

Beschlussvorschlag:
Die Bürgerschaft spricht sich für den demokratisch legitimen Protest der
Gipfelgegner/innen anlässlich des G8-Gipfels in Heiligendamm aus und fordert
den Oberbürgerneister auf:

a) zur Sicherstellung der Aktivitäten der Gipfelgegner/innen kostenfrei
angemessene Räume und Plätze in Rostock zur Verfügung zu stellen. Hierzu gehört
die Öffnung von Schulen, Turnhallen und Sportplätzen mindestens in der Zeit vom
1. bis 3.Juni 2007 sowie eine Unterstützung der Bereitstellung von Campflächen
in Rostock, die den Gipfelgegnern angemessen erscheinen. (z.B. ehem.
Heinkelwiese und Schlachthof/Fischereihafen)

b) den Gipfelgegnern kostenfrei die benötigte Infrastruktur zur Verfügung zu
stellen. (Abwasser, Trinkwasser, Strom, Abfallentsorgung). Eine Erhöhung der
Taktdichte und ein Sonderfahrpreis können eine bessere Bewegungsfreiheit
ermöglichen und sollen mit der RSAG verhandelt werden. Zusätzliche Toiletten
sind im Stadtgebiet aufzustellen.

c) den Aufbau eines Medienzentrums mit Bereitstellung von Technik und Material
zu unterstützen.

d) sich für die umgehende Veröffentlichung des Sicherheitskonzeptes der Polizei
einzusetzen, so dass alle Betroffenen umfassend über die verschiedenen
Sicherheitszonen (freier Zugang zum Strand usw.) informiert werden.

e) sich bei der Landesregierung für eine entsprechende finanzielle Unterstützung
der Gegenaktivitäten einzusetzen, so dass der Haushalt der Stadt Rostock nicht
belastet wird.

finanzielle Auswirkungen: -

Begründung
Der G8-Gipfel wird neben der Minderheit einer kleinen Machtelite - den Staats-
und Regierungschefs der 8 stärksten Wirtschaftsmächte der Welt - auch die große
Mehrheit von Gipfelgegnern nach Rostock bringen. Über 100 000 Menschen werden
zum Protest gegen die Politik der G8-Staaten erwartet. Während momentan
Millionen für den Gipfel zur Verfügung stehen, Zäune gebaut werden und
Sicherheitszonen die Bewegungsfreiheit der Menschen in MV massiv einschränken
werden, gibt es wenig bis keine offizielle Unterstützung für die Gipfelgegner.
Dies ist undemokratisch und inakzeptabel. Die Hansestadt Rostock als
unmittelbar betroffene Kommune muss sich dafür stark machen, dass den
Gipfelgegnern Plätze, Räume und finanzielle Mittel zur Verfügung gestellt
werden.

Gipfelgegner fühlen sich durch Polizei schikaniert

Noch immer fehlt eine geeigneter Standort für das Camp der G8-Gegner. Jetzt
streiten Polizei und Demonstranten sogar um Dixi-Klos.
Rostock (OZ) Den Gipfelgegnern reicht es langsam: Noch zwölf Wochen bis zum
G8-Gipfel in Heiligendamm - und noch immer ist keine wirklich geeignete
Camp-Fläche gefunden.
"Das einzige Camp, das wir bis jetzt akzeptieren, ist das in Reddelich",
erklärte Lutz Schiefelbein von der Camp-AG gestern auf einer Pressekonferenz.
Andere geeignete Flächen seien nicht in Sicht, die meisten bislang diskutierten
viel zu klein. Schuld sei die Polizei. Diese muss die Flächen befürworten, bevor
die zuständigen Behörden die Genehmigung erteilen. "Wir fühlen uns von der
Polizei verarscht", so Karl Kemper von der Pressegruppe "Campinski".
Zum Gipfel rechnet die Camp AG mit 15 000 Dauerdemonstranten, die sich "mit
ihrer Iso-Matte irgendwo hinhauen wollen". Dafür müsse eine entsprechende
Infrastruktur her. "Die Kosten belaufen sich auf rund 100 000 Euro", schätzt
Karl Kemper von der Pressegruppe "Campinski". Das Geld soll zur Hälfte durch
"Campbeiträge" zusammenkommen, die andere Hälfte müsse bei Stiftungen
eingeworben werden. "Bis Mitte März brauchen wir den definitiven Standort",
setzte Kemper ein Ultimatum. "Uns läuft die Zeit weg. "
Ein "Flickenteppich" aus vielen kleinen Camps mache keinen Sinn, hieß es
gestern. Eine zwei Hektar große Fläche in Lambrechtshagen sei nicht nutzbar, da
sie allenfalls 300 Menschen Platz biete. "Wir brauchen zehn Hektar oder mehr",
so Lutz Schiefelbein.
Die akzeptierte Camp-Fläche im Reddelicher Gewerbegebiet ist fünf Hektar groß.
"Das ist ein Angebot. Aber es reicht auch nur für 3000 Leute." Irritiert sind
die G8-Gegner davon, dass sich im zugewiesenen Areal offenbar auch private
Wohnungen befinden. "Wir wollen an sich niemanden stören."
Wünschenswert ist laut Monty Schädel vom Rostocker Bündnis ein größeres Gebiet
in Rostock. In Marienehe, Toitenwinkel Petersdorfer Straße) und Dierkow
(Rugbyplatz) will die Stadt kleinere Flächen bereithalten, die die Camp AG aber
nicht akzeptiert. Schädel: "Die stellen da Strom und Wasser bereit, ob wir
wollen oder nicht."
Die Polizei spiele nicht mit offenen Karten. "Wir werden kriminalisiert",
kritisierte Camp-Planer Till Rosemann. Bei der Besichtigung des Geländes in
Reddelich seien Mitglieder der Camp AG kontrolliert worden, später wurden sie
auf der Landstraße gestoppt und ihre Autos untersucht.
Im Gegenzug drohen die Gipfelgegner jetzt mit dem Abbruch der Gespräche: "Wenn
uns nochmal so was passiert, ist Feierabend", kündigte Schiefelbein an. Zur
Großdemo am 2. Juni würden 3-6000 Leute in Sonderzügen am Bahnhof ankommen.
"Notfalls geben wir denen einen Stadtplan mit Kreuzchen drauf, wo Freiflächen
sind und sagen: Geht da hin."
Unterdessen scheint zwischen Polizei und Gipfelgegnern ein Streit um die
Dixi-Klos entbrannt zu sein. "Wir haben von der Firma Toi, Toi-Dixi erfahren,
dass sie von behördlicher Seite gebeten wurde, bei Anfragen für Mai/Juni keine
festen Zusagen zu machen", so Kemper empört. Polizeisprecher Axel Falkenberg
betonte dagegen, man wolle die Gipfelgegner nach wie vor bei der Suche nach
einem Camp-Standort unterstützen. Es liege im Übrigen auf der Hand, dass auch
die Polizisten ein großes Kontingent Dixiklos benötigen.

Graffiti-Parolen gegen G8-Gipfel

Kühlungsborn Giftgrün waren die Graffiti-Schriftzüge und sie prangten
unübersehbar mit 20 bis 70 Zentimeter hohen Buchstaben vom Strandabgang 11 auf
Höhe Rathaus bis herunter zum Schloss am Meer in West auf der
Hochwasserschutzmauer entlang der Strandpromenade. Und auf der Fassade der
Villa Baltic und des Hauses Meeresblick.
"G8-Stopp - Generalstreik", "Stoppt G8-Faschisten", "Bush nach Den Haag", so
oder ähnlich lauteten die Inschriften, von denen eine sogar mit einem
Hakenkreuz versehen war. Im niederländischen Den Haag hat das
Kriegsverbrechertribunal der UNO seinen Sitz.
"Die Inschriften wurden vorgestern gegen 8 Uhr entdeckt. Die Stadtverwaltung hat
uns daraufhin sofort verständigt, die Ermittlungen nach den Verursachern wurden
aufgenommen", so Polizeihauptkommissar Volker Werner, Pressesprecher der
Polizeidirektion Rostock.
Die Stadt Kühlungsborn hat Anzeige wegen der Verschmutzung öffentlichen
Eigentums erstattet und die Polizei bittet jetzt bei der Suche nach den Tätern
eventuelle Zeugen um ihre Aussagen. Das kann schriftlich unter
www.polizei.mvnet.de, bei jeder Polizeidienststelle oder bei der
Einsatzzentrale der PD Rostock unter Tel.: 0381 / 65 22 24 geschehen.
"Wir haben nach der Beweisaufnahme durch die Polizei die Schmierereien sofort
übergestrichen und hoffen nur, dass unser Urlaubsort künftig von so etwas
verschont bleibt", sagte Kühlungsborns Bauhof-Chef Andreas Wegener der OZ.
