Globaler Aktionstag gegen G8

Am 14.Juli, dem Tag vor dem Beginn des G8 Gipfels in St. Petersburg

Dieses Jahr wird das Treffen der Führer der 8 reichsten Länder der Welt vom 15.
bis 17.Juli in Russland stattfinden.

Die Kernthemen sind Energiesicherheit, Bildung und AIDS, Gesundheitspolitik.

Wir wollen für freie Gesundheitsversorge auf die Straßen gehen, für freie
Bildung für alle und für das Ende des Atomzeitalters und ein Ende der Kriege.
Dieses Jahr hat das russische "Netzwerk gegen G8" NAG8 sich auch zum Ziel
gesetzt zu zeigen, dass wo immer sich die G8 treffen werden, werden sie auf
Proteste treffen. Für alle die, die es nicht schaffen können, nach Russland zu
kommen, rufen die AktivistInnen hier auf zu einem globalen Aktionstag, der
internationale Unterstützung braucht am 14 Juli in möglichst vielen Städten.

Die Macht der Eliten überschreitet viele Grenzen, aber unsere Solidarität geht

The 2006 G8 Summit that will bring together political heads from eight of the
world's largest consumer economies -- United States, Canada, the United
Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Russia -- is set to focus on "energy
security" this year as its central theme. The leaked G8 "Communique on Energy
Security" calls for an unprecedented Global expansion of nuclear power and
trillions of dollars in new subsidies to coal, oil and gas corporations
worldwide.

What does "energy security" for the G8 mean for the world? Naturally, it
encourages an even greater gulf between the Global North and Global South
because the G8 countries will have the upper hand in controlling the energy
resources at the expense of the rest of the world, especially if "energy
security" equates to more nuclear power. That amounts to an economic apartheid
system separated on the sheer basis of wealth and military might. The G8 is
already responsible for depleting the Earth's fossil fuels, often at the
expense of the polluting and impoverishment of the Global South, and this has
led to the global warming crisis that is facing us all. Ironically, they'll
make that move to nuclear power in order to claim that they'll reduce the
global warming that these same jerks are responsible for through their
unrestrained burning of coal, oil, and other fossil fuels -- and yet who is
most likely to profit from a move to nuclear? Here's a hint. It won't be the
Earth, and it won't be more than 6 billion people!

In Washington, DC, during the week of July 9-16 leading up to and during the
2006 G8 Summit, let's show the world that popular resistance to these elite
energy schemes is active and intense! Our resistance is as abundant as the G8's
greed to devour the Earth's petroleum reserves, and it's as creatively diverse
as the countless cultures they invade, colonize and destroy to get that next
quick fix of resource extraction on their never-enough road to ever-elusive

Network Against G8 (Russia / ex-USSR) - basic principles

1. Our initiative is aimed against the G8 states, their current dominating
economic system, and all forms of oppression.
2. For the participants in NAG8 any discrimination on basis of race,
nationality, gender, sexual orientation and age is intolerable.
3. We make decisions by consensus. In case of lack of consensus on some
questions groups of NAG8 participants may make their own statements and actions
not contradicting these basic principles.
4. During the preparation of protest actions we are not interested in
cooperating with organisations aiming at taking power.
5. We approve of any methods of resistance, if they are aimed against the rulers
but not against the people of G8 countries. Any member of the network is free to

River navigation and airspace to be closed in St. Petersburg during G8 Summit

During the G8 summit in St. Petersburg, navigation along the Neva River and the
eastern part of the Gulf of Finland will be forbidden from 9 a.m. on July 13,
2006, until 12 a.m. on July 18, 2006, with the exception of river boats taking
part in the summit's events. The Russian Transport Ministry has entrusted the
Federal Agency for Sea and Inland Water Transportation and the Federal Service
for Transportation Control to take charge of organization and information
measures.
Restrictions will also be imposed on the use of the airspace around Pulkovo
Airport for the duration of the summit. From 12 a.m. on July 15, 2006 until 12
a.m. on July 18, 2006, the airport will be handling flights of the summit
participants. Official letters have been sent to inform CIS and foreign
airlines as well as Russian airlines handling flights to St. Petersburg that
the airport will be closed during the summit.

The G8 Foreign Ministers' Meeting will take place on June 29, 2006, at the
Foreign Ministry Mansion (Spiridonovka st. 17).

Forming of national pools for protocol photo and video recording of the Meeting
Due to security reasons and room constraints, the press service of the MFA of
Russia will form a pool of journalists which will include two persons (one
cameraman and one photographer) from each of the G8 States to participate in
protocol shoots of the arrival of G8 foreign ministers' delegations to the
meeting, beginning of the meeting and ministers' collective photo session.
National pool members will be designated by press secretaries of the G8 foreign

Innenminister Dr. Timm stellt Verfassungsschutzbericht 2005 vor:
Rechtsextremismus ist gefährlicher geworden

"Wir dürfen den Rechtsextremisten in unserem Bundesland nicht das Feld
überlassen", forderte Innenminister Dr. Timm anlässlich der Vorstellung des
Verfassungsschutzberichtes 2005 für Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Er wies darauf hin,
dass der Einfluss der rechtsextremistischen Ideologie angewachsen ist. Die NPD
erhalte aus der neonazistischen Kameradschaftsszene fortdauernd Zulauf. So
wuchs die Mitgliederzahl der NPD von 100 im Jahre 2004 auf 200 im Berichtsjahr
2005. Alles sei dem Ziel untergeordnet, nach der Wahl am 17. September in den
Landtag zu ziehen.
Das Erscheinungsbild des Rechtsextremismus habe sich gewandelt, nicht deren
Ideologie. "Die Rechtsextremisten treten als Wölfe im Schafspelz auf", sagte
Timm und wies auf die verschiedenen Bürgerinitiativen hin, die von
NPD-Ideologen gebildet werden. "Man gibt sich ein soziales Gewand, im Kern aber
ist es politisches Programm, die demokratischen Grundrechte zu beseitigen und
nationalsozialistische Diktaturen zu errichten."

[...] Vor dem Hintergrund des 2007 stattfindenden Weltwirtschaftsgipfels G8 im
Ostseebad Heiligendamm beschäftigt sich die linksextremistische Szene intensiv
mit der Organisation und Durchführung von Protesten gegen dieses Treffen. In
diesem Aktionsfeld rechnet der Verfassungsschutz daher auch mit einem
Aufwachsen entsprechend schlagkräftiger linksextremistischer überwiegend
undogmatischer Strukturen. Darüber darf nicht hinwegtäuschen, dass sich das
Personenpotential des linksextremistischen Spektrums mit ca. 200 Personen
(davon gehören allein ca. 100 der gewaltbereiten und anarchistischen Szene an)
gegenüber dem des Vorjahres nicht verändert hat. Innenminister Dr. Timm wies
darauf hin, das es in anderen Bundesländern mit dem Begründungszusammenhang G8
bereits zu etlichen Brandanschlägen gekommen sei. Verfassungsschutz und Polizei
- so Innenminister Dr. Timm - seien gemeinsam darauf ausgerichtet, einen
weitgehend störungsfreien Verlauf des Weltwirtschaftsgipfels zu gewährleisten.

Auszug aus dem Verfassungsschutzbericht 2005 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

IV.5 "Antirassismus"
Im August/September 2005 fand erneut die von antirassistischen Gruppen und
Initiativen sowie von autonomen Gruppen und Zusammenschlüssen organisierte
bundesweit stattfindende "Anti-Lager-Tour" statt, die sich gegen das von ihnen
so genannte "Europäische Lagersystem" richtete. Ca. 250 Personen führten in
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern angemeldete Versammlungen vor dem Landesamt für Asyl -
und Flüchtlingsangelegenheiten in Horst, vor der Gemeinschaftsunterkunft in
Schwerin - Görries sowie einen Aufzug im Schweriner Innenstadtbereich durch. In
Horst kam es nach gewaltsamen Übergriffen auf Polizeibeamte zu zwei Festnahmen.

IV.6 "Anti-Globalisierung"
Nach den gewalttätigen Protesten während des G8-Gipfels im Juli 2005 in
Schottland setzen Linksextremisten nunmehr die kommenden Gipfeltreffen 2006 in
Russland und 2007 in Heiligendamm/Mecklenburg-Vorpommern auf ihre Agenda.
Militante Aktivisten äußerten bereits die Hoffnung, auch dort wieder gemeinsam
"protestieren, blockieren und sabotieren" zu können. In diesem Zusammenhang ist
es in anderen Bundesländern bereits zu vereinzelten Brandanschlägen mit dem
Begründungszusammenhang "G 8" gekommen.
Bundesweit fanden erste Vorbereitungs- und Abstimmungstreffen einschlägiger
Gruppierungen statt, an denen sich auch Personen aus Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
beteiligten. In einem Aufruf im Berliner autonomen Szeneblatt "INTERIM"
(Ausgabe 622 vom 15.09.2005, S. 24) "NO G8 2007 DISKUTIEREN PROTESTIEREN
UMZINGELN BLOCKIEREN" wurde ein breit angelegtes Gesamtbündnis aus Initiativen
aller Spektren der Linken, darunter Autonome Gruppen, traditionskommunistische
und trotzkistische Organisationen gefordert. Nur ein derartiger Zusammenschluss
könne eine Organisation und Koordination der gemeinsamen Aufgaben leisten. Ein
solches Bündnis ist jedoch aufgrund der widerstreitenden Interessen einzelner
Gruppierungen noch nicht zustande gekommen.

Vom 23.6.-25.6 wird im UJZ Korn in Hannover ein Clownsarmy-Workshop und
Vernetzungstreffen für Clownsarmy-Gruppen stattfinden.

Begonnen wird am Freitag ab 18:00 Uhr, Samstag wird in erster Linie das
Clownsarmy-Training stattfinden, außerdem wird es Raum geben, um die
bestehenden und in Gründung befindlichen Gruppen zu vernetzen und ein
inter/transnationales Treffen auf dem "Camp Inski" soll besprochen werden.

Es wird versucht die Teilnahme zum Selbstkostenpreis für Essen und Getränke
(verm. Zwischen 20 und 30 Euro) anzubieten.

Zwar kann auch eine kleine Gruppe von ClownsarmistInnen eine Menge Verwirrung
stiften, richtig Spass machen jedoch meist erst große Aktionen. Aus diesem
Grund soll Raum für Vernetzung gegeben werden, nicht nur um sich auf den G8
2007 in Heiligendamm vorzubereiten. In Niedersachsen wird die Bundeswehr im
Juli gleich zweimal größere Werbeschauen abhalten (am 7.7. in Steinhude mit
Waffenschau - inkl. Panzer; am 15.7. ein Sommerfest im Stadtpark Hannover), am
14.7. ist globaler Aktionstag zum G8-Treffen in Petersburg, verschiedene
Feldbefreiungsaktionen werden Ende Juli stattfinden, im November ist ein
CASTOR-Transport geplant, die jährliche NATO-Tagung findet Anfang '07 in
München statt außerdem sind diverse Proteste gegen den fortschreitenden
Sozialabbau zu erwarten...

Vom 4.-13.8. wird das inter/transnationale Mobilisierungscamp des
dissent!-Netzwerks stattfinden. In diesem Rahmen kann auch eine Vernetzung der
Clownsarmygruppen aus anderen Ländern stattfinden. Auch dies kann und soll
diskutiert und vorbereitet werden.
